Helping in Application Process
This one-week seminar is for those who intend to apply for admission to English-speaking universities or for such scholarship programs as the Muskie, ACCELS, or British Chevening. It meets on five consecutive days for two hours per session, for a total of 10 hours. The trainer is a graduate of an American university and an English language instructor with over 15 years’ experience helping students prepare to study in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Tasks include:
- Filling application forms
- Writing personal essays
- Writing statements of purpose
- Writing references
- Preparing an appropriate CV
- Practicing for the admissions interview
Since the standards for writing in English are much different from those for writing in Georgian or Russian, the guidance of a qualified native speaker of English is essential to give candidates the best chance for success.
The course fee of US $60 includes all materials except the application forms, which students should bring with them to the first session.
