BEC Online PREPARATION COURSE
BEC – Business English Certificate is a suite of three exams, designed to test English language ability in typical work situations. 1. BEC Higher (Level C1 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), 2. BEC Vantage (Level B2), and 3. BEC Preliminary (Level B1). At all three BEC levels, the 'business' aspect of the exam affects the vocabulary, the types of texts selected, and the situations presented in the tasks. Other skills, such as understanding the gist of a text or guessing unfamiliar words in a listening situation, are also tested. BEC is a valuable qualification for anyone who wants to develop a career, which requires language skills, including business, medicine, engineering, and many other professions. A placement test is required before enrolling in the course.
Individual, 1-2-1 tuition is 18 lessons, each lesson 1.5 hr., 2-2-1 and 3-2-1 tuition is 20 lessons, 1.5 hr each lesson. This number of the lessons is per one course cycle and is continued according to your enquiry. You can add several lessons instead of the whole course to meet your specific score target. The scheduling of the lessons is flexible and tailor made to your free time. The lessons can be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
The course is tailor made to you needs, your weaknesses, and strengths. The focus of the course is divided equally among the four sections—reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is expected that participants will spend at least as much time working outside class as they do inside.
Our students score as high as Exceptional in all three suites of BEC out of the highest scale Exceptional.
